Complexities are Worth it

Complexities are Worth it - Productivity Pad

I recently started watching a web series called Silo,’ and while it’s an intriguing story, it’s not the only reason I’m reflecting on the theme of complexities. For some time now, I’ve been trying to learn Python, and I can’t help but feel overwhelmed. These mathematical concepts seem incredibly intricate, and I often find myself wondering, how could anyone even imagine such complexities?

Just take a look at the code and commands; who was the first person to think about these ideas? The sheer complexity of it all is enough to boggle my mind. While watching ‘Silo’ or Dark Matter,’ I’ve come to realize that some concepts are just too complex for my little brain to fully grasp.

But here’s the interesting part: why am I asserting that being involved with complexities is beneficial? If we limit ourselves to only simple tasks throughout our lives, how will we ever uncover the myriad possibilities that exist within our brains, in life, or in nature? I’m not just referring to computers and coding. In a broader sense, this applies to everyday life—be it an art form, home decor, or architecture. If people hadn’t engaged with the complexities of these fields in the past, we wouldn’t be able to experience the incredible things we do today. From food and clothing to homes, laptops, medicine, and even social media, everything we enjoy is a result of someone’s willingness to dive into a vast complexity.

Take a moment to consider this: when we take a headache pill without understanding the science behind it or change our WhatsApp profile picture without contemplating the technology involved, we are missing out on something significant.

My point is this: we don’t necessarily have to complicate our lives, but I believe that we should engage with the complexity of at least one thing during our lifetime. It could be as simple as cooking or gardening, as science and technology are not paths everyone can pursue. By doing so, we will always remember the incredible potential we hold as human beings.

In conclusion, whether we’re navigating the intricacies of programming or enjoying the art of cooking, embracing complexity can lead to greater appreciation for the world around us. Let’s not shy away from challenges; instead, let’s dive in and explore the vast possibilities that await us.
